About me

Hello, I am Emily a painter from London currently living in Berlin. I love to paint and draw.

My art is made by intuitively playing with paint, set with my own rules and strategies. I am interested in combining abstract inner rhythms and drawing from my surroundings. This can be exploring rhythm and mark making and how different textures and marks interact, to also weaving in the influences I can see and draw from my environment. I enjoy the magic of painting, and how it comes alive when ideas organically evolve throughout the process. Things we at first recognize, dissolve, and the "worlds" stays as fluid as the paint itself.

I run art workshops and life drawing sessions in Berlin. You can check these out in events as well as on instagram @drinkanddrawevents.
